Job description

Missions :

To support the Sales Manager in the leadership of the team and the day-to day activities of the department so as to provide the highest level of Customer Service, maximizing sales and profitability.

·         Support with driving sales performance, achieve the business goals and optimise store contribution

·         Leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service

·         Manage general trading within the department, supporting with decision making to ensure the department runs efficiently

·         Hold accountability for the leadership of the department in the absence of the Sales Manager.

Requirements

Degrees : NO DIPLOMA

Background experience : Previous demonstrable experience of managing a team of a least 10 reports. Ready for the next step in your career

Complementary :

·         Previous demonstrable experience of managing a team of at least 10 reports. Ready for the next step in your career

·         Retail or Service industry experience within Fashion/luxury is preferred

·         Commercial awareness – a great understanding in store commerciality and visual creativity

·         Ability to build and promote effective teamwork

·         Experience with Store Walkthroughs, discussing department performance and formulating a strategy

·         Strong awareness of the latest fashion trends and be able to provide regular feedback to the Sales Manager on competitor activity

·         Ability to lead by example, coach and develop your sales team on delivering an exceptional Customer Service experience

·         Demonstrate a strong knowledge of luxury brands

·         Understand the region and local retail competition

·         An excellent communicator with customers and a leader for sales associates and management colleagues

·         Good relationship builder and networker

·         Possess great people management skills

·         Good standard of numeracy and analytical skills

·         Strong time management and organizational skills

·         Creative thinking

·         Able to work under pressure

·         Shares knowledge with others

·         Strong initiative and self-motivation
